Celia Caulcott has lived in Warlingham since 1990. She worked in the pharmaceutical industry and as a civil servant on investing in university research, and is now Vice-Provost (Enterprise) at University College London.
Celia greatly values the character of the area and believes it is vital this is maintained, in particular that new housing preserves the nature of the Warlingham area.
Councils have been under extreme financial pressure recently, with serious implications for services, and Celia believes councillors have an important role in supporting thoughtful approaches to management that deliver value and benefit to residents. Also that councillors should support local businesses, something she is professionally involved in, and would like to contribute to if elected.
