Neill Cooper

neill cooperNeill Cooper is standing for election for the Warlingham West ward on Tandridge District CouncilNeill Cooper studied Maths at Cambridge University and completed a PhD on climate change at Imperial College, London.

He moved to Warlingham with his wife in 1990. They have two grown up children who were born and educated locally.Since 2005 Neill has taught Maths at Wilson’s School in Wallington, continuing to teach from his home on Westhall Road during the recent lockdowns.

"I believe it is very important for your councillors to work to maintain this balance - ensuring that the development of housing and other amenities is appropriate to Warlingham and its surrounding area. If elected, I will actively oppose development that fails to respect this. I am strongly supportive of the appropriate provision of affordable housing in Warlingham and welcome the new council housing in Meadway and that being built in Eden Way."
