Conservatives turning lights off on green economy
Latest Government figures have shown 19,000 green job losses thanks to the Tories trashing the Coalition’s green legacy, including by slashing subsidies for renewable energy.
LibDem East Surrey parliamentary spokesperson David Lee said: “The Coalition was the greenest government ever. We tripled the amount of electricity from renewable sources and set up the Green Investment Bank. On their own the Tories are taking us backwards”.
Parks and Car Parks threatened with Development by Tandridge Tories

Article 50 and May’s mishandling of democracy
The High Court ruled that the Prime Minister cannot give notice of intention to withdraw from the European Union (“activate Article 50”) without reference to Parliament.
Social media has exploded and the right wing press have gone mad with comment about this. A lot of it is inaccurate and gets wrong why the court had ruled as it has and what are the practical implications of the ruling, which will be appealed to the Supreme Court in December.
