Is the Caterham Masterplan a green light to hundreds of flats and no parking?
Tandridge Council is currently undertaking a second consultation on the Caterham Masterplan until the 22nd January and local Liberal Democrat Councillors are urging as many people as possible to take part. The Liberal Democrat group are shocked at the current proposals that appears to green light hundreds of extra flats but makes no attempt to resolve the parking issues in Caterham.

Nationwide: Lib Dem clean sweep with four out of four by-election wins
Four council by-elections were contested across England on the same night as Caterham Hill. They came with the neat simplicity of one defence each for Conservatives, Labour, Liberal Democrats and UKIP. A neat simplicity of results too: all won by the Liberal Democrats in the party’s best council by-election night for a long time.
We are very sad to announce the death of former Councillor David Gosling who served the Westway Ward as a District and Parish Councillor between 2008 and 2016.
He was a great servant of the Ward and a fine Councillor. He died prematurely of a heart attack at 47, and we miss him very much.
