Labour fail to back a people's say on Brexit
Commenting on the Labour frontbench abstaining and Tory peers voting against the people having the final say on the Brexit Deal in the House of Lords, Liberal Democrat leader in the House of Lords Dick Newby said:
“This vote has shown that since we last voted on the issue a year ago there has been a large shift in favour of giving the people the final say on any Brexit deal.

Tandridge Tories overturn proposal to review Caterham Masterplan
At Thursday’s heated Full Council meeting the Local Liberal Democrat group proposed that the Caterham Masterplan should be referred back to Planning Policy Committee due to the issues with the document that a substantial number of local residents had raised.
Cllr Alun Jones said, “All was asked for was this important plan to be looked at again to address the key issues before coming into force. The Conservative group refused to listen.”
