Richard Fowler is standing to represent the people of Bletchingley & Nutfield in the upcoming district elections.
Richard Fowler lives within the ward and has done for 28 years. He is currently a member of Bletchingley Conservation & Historical Society.
Professionally Richard is currently Chartered Building Services Engineer. He says that “I think my professional experience will help me as a councillor because it has enabled me to meet and work with a wide range of people and situations, and to deal with a wide variety of problems and challenges.”
In Richard’s personal life he is married. He has 2 adult children. When Richard has free time there is nothing he is involved with the local church as churchwarden and choir member, and active in a number of local organisations.
Richard thinks one of the most important issues in Bletchingley & Nutfield is the A25 traffic and the quarrying at North Park and Nutfield Marsh and he is committed to working with local people to find a solution. More widely Richard is will be campaigning hard for more affordable housing for local people. He says “I want to be a councillor because as a Liberal Democrat I believe in fairness for all, not just the privileged.” and promises ,“if elected, my commitment to the people of Bletchingley & Nutfield is to listen, and represent your views and problems, and do my best to seek resolutions.. “
