Today, Tim Farron delivered his leader's speech to Liberal Democrat Autumn Conference in Brighton in it, he talked at length about where we, as a country go from here, about Brexit and the politics of fear, division and hate.
He also spoke about the refugee crisis, the NHS and how we ensure it cares for everyone, how to improve our children's education, attacked the Labour party for failing to stand up to the Tories and set out how our party will "do a Trudeau".

The Liberal Democrats are the only party fighting to keep Britain open, tolerant and united. We are the real voice of opposition to the Conservative Brexit Government.
People have been let down for decades by short-termist politicians who put the needs of one part of society above the rest. Now, in the wake of the Brexit vote those divisions are more exposed than ever before. With our country facing huge challenges – from inequality and injustice to an NHS in crisis and an economy in jeopardy – we are left with a reckless, divisive and uncaring Conservative Government and Labour fighting among themselves with no plan for the economy or the country.
Britain's rental system is broken and renters can't get ahead. Tom Brake MP and the Lib Dems are trying to fix that. With our Renters’ Rights Bill we want to shift the power to people who rent and end unfair rip-off letting fees.
The average letting fee is £355, many people have to pay over £500!
Lettings fees are already banned in Scotland, where it has been shown to work successfully.
