The average number of houses per Hectare in Tandridge is 3 dwellings per hectare. In parts of Caterham it is 37 dwellings! The Green Belt is not an excuse to dump all development in Caterham.
Croydon is threatening to allow for significant increase in density in Kenley around its railway station. This will have a trickle down effect. Some London Planners are suggesting that "transport hubs" could have more flats and tower-blocks built. We do not want this for Caterham, Whyteleafe or Warlingham or anywhere else in Tandridge.
